Discovery Methods

• Grass drops from valid grass or fern blocks.
• Seed packets that open into weighted seed drops.
• Chest loot in villages, dungeons, mineshafts, and temples.
• Natural crop patches in new chunks.
• Admin commands during testing.

What To Try First

Break grass in a biome that matches the crop you want, explore village/farm-style loot, then use seed packets when you find them. Rice and other special crops may be weighted toward specific biome groups rather than appearing everywhere.

Seed Packets

Temperate packets focus on lettuce, corn, tomato, onion, and some vanilla crops. Tropical packets focus on rice and warm-climate vanilla seeds.
