This walkthrough makes a simple cooked food and teaches the physical station flow.

First Meal Visual Flow

Frying Pan setup
Build the Frying Pan from a furnace and heavy weighted pressure plate.

Right-click with an egg to place it as a visible ingredient.

Start cooking with an empty hand and watch the progress feedback.

Collect the finished Fried Egg from the station.

Common Wrong Turn

Vanilla furnace GUI cannot cook Heirloom recipes
The vanilla furnace GUI does not cook Heirloom recipes; interact with the physical station instead.

Goal

Cook Fried Egg on a Frying Pan.

Build The Frying Pan

Place a FURNACE, then place a HEAVY_WEIGHTED_PRESSURE_PLATE on top. The plate is the station block players interact with.

Cook

  1. Hold an egg.
  2. Right-click the frying pan to add it.
  3. Empty your hand.
  4. Right-click the station to begin cooking.
  5. Wait for the completion effects.
  6. Left-click to collect the result, or add more ingredients if the result is part of another recipe chain.

What To Notice

  • The station stores visible ingredients as display entities.
  • Some stations need tools for best results, such as chopping tools on the Cutting Board.
  • Recipe quality can improve with correct station interaction and Cooking Mastery.
