Food Systems

Heirloom food is more than hunger points. Items can carry quality, dietary labels, food properties, potion effects, creator data, consume returns, and visual IDs.

The Important Distinction

  • Dietary properties answer "what is this food made from?" Examples: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free.
  • Food properties answer "what happens when I eat this?" Examples: golden, chorus, sweet, energizing.
  • Quality answers "how well did this food turn out?"

These systems can overlap on one item. A high-quality vegan food can also be GOLDEN, CHORUS, and a player's favourite food.
